FHT_2< One of the world’s foremost countries in tourism, Thailand’s foodservice and hospitality industry continues to bloom leading to a 22nd successful edition of Food & Hotel Thailand (FHT). The country’s longest running premium international food & hospitality trade event showcased 287 participants from 21 countries. More than 800 brands were on show to impress customers with 5 International Pavilions taking centrestage that included Italy, Japan, South Africa, Taiwan and the USA. FHT_1

In keeping with tradition, FHT2014 once again garnered strong support from leading industry associations including the Thai Hotels Association (THA), Thailand Chef’s Association (TCA), Thai Restaurants Association (TRA), Thai Retailers Association (TRA), the Executive Housekeeper Association, Barista Association of Thailand (BAT), ASEAN Coffee Federation (ACF), Food & Beverage Association of Thailand (FBAT), Food & Beverage Management Association of Thailand (FBMAT), Hotels & Building Chief Engineering’s Club and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB).


Major brands did not waste the chance to visit and amongst the many included 13 Coin, A-One, Accor, After You, Air Asia, All Season, Airport of Thailand, Ambassador Bangkok, Amari Atrium, Anatara Group, Asia Hotel, Au bon pain, Baiyok Hotel, Bangkok Air Catering, Bangkok Airway, Bangkok Marriott, Banyan Tree, Best Western, Big C, Black Canyon, Blue Elephant, Cathay Pacific, Centara, Central Food Retail, Central Group, Chivasom, Chocolate Ville, Chockchai, Coca, Coffee Bean, Conrad, Dusit Thani, Eastin Grand, Foodland Supermarket, Four Seasons, Fuji, Grand Hyatt, Greyhound Café, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Imperial Queen’s Park, JW Marriott, King Power, Le Condon Bleu, Le Meridien, LSG Sky Chefs, Mandarin Oriental, Nok Air, Novotel, Oishi Group, Plaza Athenee, Pullman, Renaissance, Royal Orchid Sheraton, S&P, Seefah, Shangrila, Siam Kempinski, Siam Paragon, Sofitel, Starbucks, Sukishi, Tesco Lotus, Thai Airways, The Mall Group, True Coffee, Villa Market and Yum Restaurants.


The show recorded a total of 26,550 trade buyers from across Thailand and the region with 68 Professional Groups from 5 countries including Hong Kong, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. FHT2014 saw strong attendance from hotels, restaurants, resorts, foodservice, cafés, coffee shops, importers, distributors, industry players and many more.
