FOOD & HOTEL THAILAND CHALKS UP ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SHOW

This statement alongside numerous positive feedback shows the constant market growth as Food & Hotel Thailand (FHT) took place for the 23rd time from 2nd – 5th September at the Bangkok International Trade Exhibition Centre (BITEC). It is the leading international trade event for F&B products, international foodservice and kitchen solutions, high-end hospitality products and the latest technologies. Thailand, one of the world’s most popular places, tourism is a key driving force for the Thai economy and Food & Hotel Thailand is the main event of the year, enthused its Vice Minister for Tourism and Sports, Assoc. Prof. Chavanee Tongroachwho while opening FHT2015.

fnh3335 participants from 26 countries including 3 International Pavilions from China, Japan and Korea culminating to over 1000 brands were on hand to meet customers. 27,980 quality trade buyers from 56 countries and 75 professional groups attended the show; which continues to attract players such as Air Asia, Amari Atrium, Baiyoke Boutique & Sky Hotels, Bangkok Air ways, Blue Elephant, Cathay Pacific, Central Group, Doi Chang Coffee, Dusit Thani, Eastin Grand, Foodland Supermarket, Fuji Restaurants, LSG Sky Chefs, Nok Air, Novotel, Oishi Group, Siam Kempinski, Sofitel, Tesco Lotus, The Mall Group, Villa Market, Yum Restaurants and more.

fnh4Industry events during FHT2015 included AHRA ASEAN Hotel & Restaurant Association Conference 2015, 21st Thailand International Culinary Cup (TICC) 2015, the first ever AEC Culinary Challenge 2015, 2nd National Thailand Latte Art Championship 2015, 11th FBAT International Wine Challenge, Wine Seminars and many many more. It works closely with Ministry of Tourism & Sports, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai Hotels Association, Thailand Chefs Association, Thai Restaurant Association, Thai Retailers Association, Barista Association of Thailand, The Executive Housekeeper Association of Thailand, Hotels & Buildings Chief Engineering Club, Food & Beverage Association of Thailand, Food & Beverage Management Association of Thailand, Restaurant & Goods Product Association, Hotel Public Relations Association and Thai Spa Association. The next edition takes place on 7-10th September 2016.
