FOOD & HOTEL VIETNAM 2019 – another SUCCESSFUL edition

After three bustling days of show, the international food and drinks, hotel, restaurant, bakery and foodservice equipment, supplies & services exhibition, Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019 was successfully concluded. The show attracted a total of 466 exhibiting companies from 36 countries & regions.

The 10th anniversary edition of Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019 successfully closed, receiving plenty of positive feedback from trade visitors and exhibitors as well as reflecting the strong development of the Vietnamese hospitality industry. The event welcomed a turnout of 13,729 visitors to Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) on 24th, 25th and 26th April 2019 and featured 22 international group pavilions from developed industrial nations such as Ireland, Poland, Belgium (2), Canada, Taiwan, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Korea, Malaysia, United States, Russia (3), French, Singapore, Spain, Turkey, China and Australia (2). Visitors came with intentions to stay abreast of the cuttingedge technologies, smart robots, innovations on offer, forge new business partnerships as well as strengthen their existing industry relationships. This year’s event was also visited by 360 groups of delegation from well-known brands.

SINCERE THANKS TO ALL EXHIBITORS
After 15 years of organizing and 10 impressive editions, the list of participating exhibitors of Food & Hotel Vietnam has become longer and longer. With a strong line-up of wellknown exhibitors in the hospitality sector and together with their innovative products and technologies, Food & Hotel Vietnam has proved its position and also its reputation.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Chung – Chairman – NH FOODS VIETNAM JSC said: “We have participated in Food & Hotel Vietnam from the first days until now, and we are absolutely satisfied with this show. This is supposed to be a chance for suppliers and manufacturers to promote their products to the customers. We will definitely be back in the next versions of Food & Hotel Vietnam.”

Mr. Shawn Li – Sunora Foods Ltd said: “Being at Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019, so far I have nothing to complain about the show or even the organizing service; I can say that this is such a fantastic show. TRADE VISITORS’ POSITIVE FEEDBACK

The biennial Food & Hotel Vietnam exhibition is always supported by many organizations, associations and nations’ consulates such as Canada, USA, France, Australia, and Italy to name a few.

AMAZING SPECIALIZED COMPETITIONS
Held alongside Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019 are different events such as Vietnam Culinary Challenge for young chefs; educational events such as SCA Barista Skills Foundation and Barista & Coffee Experience Program for passionate barista.

Mr. Michael Ryan – Trainer, Barista & Coffee Experience Program shared: “This is the first time I have come to Vietnam as a trainer for a barista training course. It is my pleasure to meet barista trainers and trainees as well as coffee industry owners in this country. At Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019, I have achieved new relationships with lots of interesting people; and this is how I operate my business.”

Mr. Ross Bright – Trainer, SCA Barista Skills Foundation shared: “Over the past ten years, Vietnam’s coffee industry has grown bigger than ever. Being here as a trainer for SCA Barista Skills Foundation at Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019, I was surprised with the present quality of Vietnamese baristas. I hope that I and other barista trainers can contribute more for the Vietnamese coffee industry and create more and more high-level baristas in order to make the industry in Vietnam better.”

GET READY FOR FOOD & HOTEL VIETNAM 2021
The next edition of the leading international food and drinks, hotel, restaurant, bakery and foodservice equipment, supplies & services exhibition, Food & Hotel Vietnam, organized by UBM Vietnam will return to Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) from 27th to 29th April 2021.
