WELBILT PRESENTS SEASON 3.0 at Hotelex Shanghai 2019

By February 8, 2020No Comments

Welbilt recently created another wave of excitement at Hotelex Shanghai 2019! At their Season 3.0 event, Welbilt introduced the goal of being “Complete. FIT. Connected”. Welcoming their brand new acquisition – CREM, which has one of the broadest range of professional coffee machines in the industry, Welbilt is thrilled to witness the addition and to make its portfolio of foodservice equipment brands more Complete than before.

The philosophy of FIT (Food Inspired Technology), on the other hand, addresses the pain points of many operators on how to reduce labour; how to do more with less; and how an F&B outlet can increase sales and revenue while keeping menus fresh. Welbilt’s fitKitchenSM aims to offer operators the solutions to build much efficient and productive professional kitchens.

Complementing fitKitchenSM is Welbilt’s drive to deliver the kitchen of tomorrow by being Connected. In conjunction with the launch of KitchenConnect® digital services in Asia, KitchenConnect®’s dashboard unlocks equipment information for chefs, operators, restaurant managers, and multi-unit owners to optimise the operation of their kitchens. By adopting an open approach, KitchenConnect® allows Welbilt equipment to be on Welbilt or other existing or preferred platforms.

Welbilt also debuted the launch of new products such as the fully automated CREM coffee machine – UNITY; and the next generation of Manitowoc ice machine – Indigo NXT. For more information on these products, please visit www. creminternational.com and www.manitowocice.com.

Known for its thought leadership in the foodservice industry, the Welbilt Season 3.0 included seasoned speakers such as Rick Caron, Welbilt’s Chief Innovation Officer and Ian Whatley, Design Director of SeymourPowell. Rick shared his views about technology in the industry while Ian expounded the importance of industrial design.

Season 3.0 is more than just product launches and equipment showcases – the event gave a glimpse of the innovate edge of Welbilt products in the near future. Certainly, Welbilt continues to strive as one of the global leaders in the professional foodservice equipment and system providers industry.
