WRAPS UP SUCCESSFUL 20TH EDITION WITH BIGGER TRADE BUSINESS AT BITEC
Bangkok, 10 September 2012 – Food & Hotel Thailand (FHT) 2012, the annual international trade exhibition of food & drink, hotel, bakery, restaurant, foodservice equipment, supplies & service wrapped-up its bigger and successful 20th anniversary edition from 5 to 8 September 2012. Receiving praise and recognition from the industry for a bigger show at BITEC, it brought in high quality and quantity trade buyers from across Thailand and the region.
FHT 2012 attracted 26,962 trade buyers from 66 countries including 60 group delegations including buyers from food & hospitality, import & distribution, retail, airline catering and manufacturing, together with leading company names such as; Bangkok Airways, Marriott, Centara, Sheraton, Hyatt, Swissotel, Sofitel, Hard Rock Hotel, Baiyoke Sky, Villa Supermarket, Central Food Retail, The Mall Group, Tesco Lotus, Big C, S&P, Black Canyon, Dean & Deluca, Narai Pizzeria, The British Club, MK Restaurant, CP Groups, Tokiya Taiwan, Saigon Professional Chef Group and many more.
With an increase in overseas attendees up 13.2% from last year, FHT2012 connected participants not only to visitors from across Thailand but also to the region. The top fifteen Asian attendees, in order, came from Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, India, China, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Maldives and South Korea. With the above comments and figures being echoed by exhibitors, booths and sales teams were kept busy during all 4 show days.
