livecookintable2An idea conceived and introduced few years ago, the first ever modular live cooking furniture is gaining more recognition now and was accorded the Hosthinking and Host SmartLabel Award 2013. As a former Chef-Patissier, Norbert Fischbach is familiar with the workings of a commercial kitchen. He then pursued event design and together with an architect, they began designing products and planning spaces. The thought of how kitchens are often confined to buildings was the idea that brought livecookintable® to reality offering a different cooking set up for professional chefs or even avid home cooks.

livecookintable1No tools are needed to assemble the table, only knurled nuts are used for mounting and cooking is done via induction and users can arrange devices that best fit their order of cooking; whether to boil, chill, grill, warm or cook with a Chinese style wok. livecookintable® can be applied in hotel banquet areas, restaurants, event locations, cooking schools, fairs, exhibition centers and many more, and with its mobile Airwall, cooking odours are easily filtered out, particularly in indoor cooking. Aside from being a flexible cooking station, it can also double up as a restaurant table due to its extra width compared to a traditional
banquet table of 76cm. This modular furniture system builds its table with 97cm width to provide adequate space for cooking, presentation and decoration and the ease to directly insert a 1X1/1 GN and 2X1/3 GN containers into the table.

livecookintableAvailable in 3 sizes, it provides options for users to select the range of functions for their individual system. Pack up and move to the next location by storing the parts in its specifically designed carrier bags withweightage that an adult can easily handle.
